MBOB: Before I fall by Lauren Oliver

*Post may contain Affiliate Links
Before I FallI don't know about anyone else, but I soooo can't wait for this to come out!  I read Before I fall back in 2010 and had hoped that this would make it to the movies.  And it did!!  Check out the trailer below, and make sure to read the book before you see it.  I've always been a strong believer that books are better than their movies.  I'll be itching to see how this movie pans out though.  But in the mean time, I'll be picking up Before I fall again, just to refresh the memory before March 3rd.

Bookish Gifts for the Literary Lover

It's that time of year again!  You're fumbling for ideas for that bookish friend or family member.  Book vouchers are an easy out but you want to do something special right?  Well here's your answer.

Out of Print

Out of Print is an amazing place to shop for clothing, jewellery, notebooks, tote bags you name it.  You can shop buy person, Collections, authors etc.  Well worth checking out.  This has to be my favourite one though:

Bookish Gifts

Bookish Gifts is another one to go and check out.  Another website with an array of gift ideas.  These include scarves, stationery, prints and posters, mail subscriptions etc.  I'm in love with the Harry Potter scarves.  But then again, who wouldn't be :)

Harry Potter Scarf - 4 Hogwarts Houses

Knob Creek Metal Arts has an amazing range of book ends!  They do sell other things as well such as Signs and wall art, dog leash racks, etc.  So check them out.  Here's my favourite:
Bibliophile Metal Art Bookends - Free USA Shipping

A place I stumbled upon not long ago.  This has got a massive range of lights for all your needs.  I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to do alot of reading at night time, especially when the family are asleep, so I don't usually like keeping the lights on and everyone up.  So my ideal choice would be this one below:

Well that's all from me for now.  Happy shopping!  Keep an eye out for future gift giving posts

TV Shows Based on Books: Midnight Series

This >has got to be one of those stories that I have been itching to see made into a movie or tv show, and as luck would have it, we get to see this happen.  If you haven't read the stories, I suggest picking up Midnight Crossroad and go from there.  I loved the Sookie Stackhouse series and Midnight has not disappointed either.  I expect the show to be just as amazing as Trueblood.

Midnight Crossroad (Midnight, Texas #1)Day Shift (Midnight Texas, #2)Night Shift (Midnight, Texas, #3)

I could not find out when we can expect this to air on tv but if anyone knows, feel free to add in the comments below.

Waiting on Wednesday (161)

Wednesday was created by Jill over at Breaking The Spine. It's a weekly post for you to share what upcoming books you can't wait for!

I'm really looking forward to Cath Crowley's next book Words in Deep Blue.  We can expect this out in September of this year.  I can't wait!!

Words in Deep Blue Synopsis:

This is a love story. It's the story of a second-hand bookshop called Howling Books where people leave letters to strangers, or those they love, or want to love, between the pages of books in the Letter Library.

Henry Jones and Rachel Sweetie are best friends. Or they were. Before Rachel moved away to the sea. Now, she's back, grieving for her brother Cal who drowned in the sea that he loved.

Rachel loves Henry. Henry loves Amy. Amy loves Amy but is happy for Henry to love her too.

This is a book about books. About the power of literature to cradle our past, present and future selves. It's about how we leave ourselves behind when we die. How we leave our histories in the things we love - like books.

What are you waiting on?

Night Shift (Midnight, Texas, #3)
Night Shift by Charlaine Harris
(Midnight, Texas 3)

The Raven King (The Raven Cycle, #4)
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
(The Ravel Cycle 4)

Two of my most wanted books on my list.  I'm glad I have gotten a hold of both.  Reading for me the last year or so has been fizzling out.  I worried that I had lost that joy of picking up a book and immersing myself within.  But after picking up The Raven King and getting to halfway through without really thinking about it, I'm stoked to know that my love for reading is still there.  I just need to be more particular about the books I pick.

Waiting on Wednesday (160)

Wednesday was created by Jill over at Breaking The Spine. It's a weekly post for you to share what upcoming books you can't wait for!

I'm definitely looking forward to The Last Star by Rick Yancey.  This is out 24th May 2016.

The Last Star (The 5th Wave, #3)
Synopsis
We’re here, then we’re gone, and that was true before they came. That’s always been true. The Others didn’t invent death; they just perfected it. Gave death a face to put back in our face, because they knew that was the only way to crush us.

It won’t end on any continent or ocean, no mountain or plain, jungle or desert. It will end where it began, where it had been from the beginning, on the battlefield of the last beating human heart.

MBOB: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them

A copy of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief, which means that the pounds and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they see you being attacked by a Manticore.

- Albus Dumbledore

I'm definitely looking forward to this!
